Elizabeth Hansen
I am a compliance professional with fifteen years of experience leading and working with public and private K-12 schools, colleges, and universities throughout the country.
My Practice
My practice is focused on assisting institutions and individuals with misconduct policies, processes, and matters.

Institutional Work: I help schools and workplaces meet their compliance obligations and implement practices and policies that foster more compliant, productive, and equitable environments.

Individual Work: I also work with complainants and respondents to a misconduct process as an advisor, helping them navigate the process, be fully heard, and put forward the best and most persuasive case.

Why You Will Enjoy Working With Me
I am practical and collaborative.

I've been there. I established, led, and supported equity and HR offices at several academic institutions, both as an internal employee and a consultant. As a result, I have an understanding not only of law and policy, but how to work with the various campus constituencies, including human resources, trustees, administration, faculty, students, and campus police.
I've done the work. Over the past fifteen years, I have conducted or overseen hundreds of investigations, conducted dozens of hearings, served as an advisor, written and revised policies, and trained thousands of students and employees on policies and laws. I have significant experience in each stage of the misconduct processes and, consequently, understand how to successfully guide individuals through the misconduct process.
